Recycled cotton is salvaged cotton that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. Most of recycled cotton is made from the scraps of cotton produced by sewing plants worldwide. This type of cotton is also known as post-industrial recycled cotton.
We source our caps from many different factories from here in New Zealand and abroad. You'll find all of our caps are different, materials ranging from Hemp, Merino wool, Cotton through to a variety of man made fabrics like polyester and nylon and in some instances a combination of many materials in the one design.
While the variety is large they all have one method of care...
Gentle Hand Wash, in Cold Water with an air dry out of direct sunlight.
All of our caps, regardless of model should be cleaned only if they absolutely have too. The combination of fabrics, stitching, welding, gluing, branding and riveting make it near impossible for our caps (or anyone else's) to be machine washed without damaging the cap.
FINDING YOUR SIZE
We work hard to offer a broad range of cap sizes, shapes and styles in our custom collections from multiple cap factories globally. We've then measured each cap and identified the sizing for each model with a scale listed between it's smallest and largest size adjustment. before ordering take a few moments to identify your head measurement as shown below.
A) Take a measuring tape and place it around the circumference of your head, slightly above the ears, with the tape held fairly closely to your head.
B) Measure your head and then compare the measurement with the table below to find your hat size.
C) If you don’t have a tape measure, then use a piece of string to measure around your head and then check the length using a ruler or other measure.
OSFM, many of our caps come as a One Size Fits Most fitting with further adjustment achieved with rear metal buckle, velcro and snap back closures. The smallest measurement is taken with the back adjustment fully closed and the largest size when it's fully open.
