The ripstop bucket features the iconic Black Fern frond flag design up front to remind us all that the beauty of New Zealand's Natural environment in our national colour…black.
The Black Fern frond design is an interpretation of Alofi Kanter‘s shortlisted design for the New Zealand Flag referendum of 2015-2016. We’ve swapped out the white elements for a textured all black finish and resized the design to best suit headwear.
The design is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 New Zealand license.

Hat Care:
The MNTN bucket is made from a mid weight breathable ripstop cotton. Generally bucket hats are not designed to be regularly washed, if you do need to clean the hat we recommend spot cleaning where possible, a gentle hand wash in cold water and air drying for a deeper clean.
